Teaching and outreach

[Woodcut from Camille Flammarion, L’Atmosphère: Météorologie Populaire (1888)]
We are explorers. This nineteenth century woodcut illustrates the human desire to understand what is beyond our reach.

I have over 700 hours of teaching experience including 200 hours of one-to-one tuition in A-level and degree Physics. Between 2012 and 2016 I was an examiner for A-level Physics with one of the leading UK examination boards.

I have given a number of outreach talks at public events. In 2012–2013 I taught science at the Polish Saturday School in East Finchley, London. I designed and ran an innovative science course bringing together topics from biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. For my contribution to the School’s continuing success, in 2013 I was awarded a Gold Cross of Merit from the Polish Catholic Mission in England and Wales.
